Informational Meeting

Our first meeting is complementary. We get to know each other and learn about your lifestyle (i.e. Do you entertain? Host large family dinners? What styles do you like?). Putting these pieces together creates our foundation for design.

Design Process

Depending on the scope of work, the design process can be anywhere from spending few hours of going over ideas, to a few months updating a kitchen, or more by completely remodeling your home.

We begin by taking measurements of your space or inputting existing plans into our CAD program. Then, we design the space and transform it according to your goals. These designs are presented via the computer program Chief Architect to provide realistic visuals. It allows us to alter the design as you’re sitting in your home.

Throughout the process, we make material selections that fit your needs and your lifestyle all while keeping within your budget. We create selection sheets and finish schedules so you have a clear picture of your project prior to starting construction.

Continued Design Support

NW Home Designers works with your contractors to ensure every detail is properly communicated. We schedule the site visits with you and your subcontractors throughout construction—whether it is a tile layout, electrical plan or a cabinet detail. Together, we will complete your project down to the last detail.
